Dylan's First Birthday
My sweet baby boy is no longer a baby it is official he is ONE. In announcing that I would like to also announce we are going through the terrible ONES. Yes that is right we love to throw tantrums and ignore Mommy when she tells us not to do something and my favorite is to act like the world has come to an end when we do not get our way. I am thankful this behavior did not begin until after the birthday festivities had ended. We had a great time for his birthday. The weekend before the party Mommy, Daddy and Dylan had their first trip to Toys R Us. I am not sure who had more fun Daddy or Dylan. Friday before the party Dylan's Grandaddy and Ali came up from Sarasota, FL and took Dylan to go pick out his first wagon. He loves his wagon we ride in it almost everyday. He is so cute in it he leans back in the seat and waves like he is in a parade or just relaxes while Mommy or Daddy pull him around. The big hit at the party was Dylan's birthday hat all of his Grandpas accused me of being mean by putting him in that hat. I do not care what they think I searched online went to every baby boutique in Baldwin County and finally found a store that had one left. Hope everyone enjoys the pics.

Well I got fussed out by our cousins last weekend that I have been slacking on my postings. Dylan is very mobile and on the verge of walking so it does not leave me with much computer time. So here is an update for everyone as I just said I believe Dylan will be walking very soon. He took four steps Monday night and two steps Saturday night. I got him the step and ride car about two weeks ago and he pushes it everywhere. I can not believe he is going to be a year old in a few weeks time really does fly.

I am sorry I have not posted in a while we have been very busy the month of March we had our annual trip to Atlanta, I had a birthday and Easter. Our trip to Atlanta was good Dylan did great. Brad was off that Friday so we went as far as Pine Apple to his parents house and spent the night which knocked off 2 hours of our trip. Saturday we had breakfast and lunch with Granny and Papa and then hit the road to Atlanta. Dylan slept most of the trip and only got fussy the last 30 minutes. We loaded up Sunday at around 2pm Dylan stayed awake for about 45 min. and then fell asleep we were able to make to Montgomery were we stopped for dinner and let Dylan stretch his legs and he slept most of the way back home. As far as my Birthday I learned I have a very sneaky but WONDERFUL husband. Brad with all he has had going on with work and going out of town somehow found time to plan a surprise party for my 30th Bday. I was not looking forward to the Bday for some reason so it meant a lot to me that he made it memorable. He had my friends and the family waiting in a back room at one of my favorite restaurants and we all had drinks and dinner and a really really great time. Oh and yes I finally got my diamond earrings I have been asking for. They are beautiful. The only down fall was that Dylan came down with an ear infection and a slight head cold that day and was not feeling good. So Memaw inhaled her dinner loaded him in the car and took him to her house. She is so funny she holds him all the time mom gets so mad that she won't share him. I hate that my child is so unloved (ha ha). Easter we kept pretty low key we went to church and then came home and napped and had an early dinner. I did however have a photo shoot of Dylan in his Easter out fit he wore one of Brad's old baby outfits that Susie had saved and it was soooooo cute. I hope ya'll enjoy the new pics.

Dylan is growing so much he is eating soilds on a regular basis and is sitting up on his own. He went to his first Mardi Gras Parade last night he seemed to enjoy watching everyone jump around. He caught a few cute stuffed animals with assistance of his favorite friend Katie. I was really surprised that the noise did not bother him but it didn't. I think we may be seeing our first tooth soon and he is working on crawling. Right now he gets on all fours and rocks a little bit then ends up pushing himself backwards.

Happy New Year everyone. We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. Our first Christmas with Dylan was GREAT. Brad's father, his wife & mother all came and stayed with us for a few days we were so happy to have them here to celebrate with us. Mr. Dylan was throughly spoild for Christmas. He got a whole new wardrobe, a high chair and an excersaucer along with some additional small items. He loves his excersaucer and mommy does too. We have started soilds this week and so far so good he loves apples and sweet potatoes but the diapers are not so pleasent.
